In person experiences call for more than your typical images. The assignment for this jewelry brand’s popup event was spring florals. Deviating from the brand’s normal neutral tones, I chose to take these shots to new levels of color. Pink. Only the most impactful shots can create a stream of IG story mentions these days. The studio walls of the Chelsea, NYC venue called for subject matter that scaled well. I intentionally made these images bold, instructing the model to keep the expressions more avant-garde than commercial. Nevertheless, the feeling remained feminine and the jewelry was showcased in a unique way.
